Questions?

How flexible do I have to be?

Yoga is one of the best-known practices for increasing flexibility. If you can’t touch your toes, or you have stiffness in your joints, yoga is perfect for gently helping you increase your range of motion. In class we all work to our own limitations. Everyone in my classes is a beginner or restarter and we all have different bodies. The biggest myth about yoga is that you need to be flexible. You don’t!

Am I too old/young for class?

You can do yoga at any age. In-person classes tend have an older demographic (35+) as this is often a time of life when people realise they will continue to lose strength and range of motion if they don’t use it. All ages are welcome.

Can men do yoga?

All genders are welcome – yoga is for everyone. There is no exclusion in class – we are all there to focus on our own journey.

What should I wear?

Tracksuit bottoms or leggings and a tshirt is fine. Wear anything that feels comfortable and doesn’t restrict your movment.

Do I need to bring a mat?

Yes, please bring your own mat.
Blocks, if needed, are provided at the Yoga Centre.
